“According to the Finance Department, government workers/beneficiaries/family retired people of State Government accepting compensation/benefits in reexamined pay structure have been conceded 12 percent rebate stipend/help rather than 9 percent, with impact from 01.01.2019,” said a Bihar Cabinet discharge.

The move will profit around 4 lakh state government workers and six lakh beneficiaries. The move will put an extra yearly weight of Rs 1,100.94 crore on the state exchequer.
