​New Delhi: India’s fares of homestead, marine and workmanship items to the United States could be hit by the US intends to end a special exchange treatment to the nation in the following two months, an authority at India’s fundamental exporters’ body said on Tuesday.

“We dread that our work concentrated fares of agribusiness, marine and workmanship items to the US would be hit hard,” Ajay Sahai, chief general of the Federation of Indian Export Organizations (FIEO), told Reuters. US President Donald Trump on Monday said he proposed to end India’s special exchange treatment under a program that permits $5.6 billion worth of Indian fares to enter the United States obligation free.
