Reliance Communications has chosen to settle on bankruptcy procedures following its inability to move resources for paying back its loan specialists, the Anil Ambani-drove telecom firm said on Friday.

RCom was hoping to acknowledge Rs 975 crore from clearance of range to Jio which it guaranteed to utilize paying contribution of Rs 550 crore to Ericsson and Rs 230 crore to settle levy of minority partner Reliance Infratel.

Reliance Jio, in any case, declined to assume control over any past obligation of RCom for which the Department of Telecom may bring request up in future.
