‘Coolie No. 1’ team become plastic free, Varun Dhawan shared a message

Whenever there is a social cause, all celebrities have always come forward. In this sequence, this time the team of the film ‘Coolie No. 1’ has supported the plastic free India campaign of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Varun Dhawan and Sara Ali Khan starrer The crew of this film decided to use metallic bottles instead of using plastic bottles during shooting.

PM Modi in his Mann Ki Baat program appealed to the country to stop using single use plastic. In support of this campaign, many Bollywood stars including Aamir Khan, Karan Johar, Diya Mirza, Bhumi Pednekar, also posted on social media. Now the team of Coolie number one has decided to be plastic free.

The film’s lead actor Varun Dhawan has tweeted and appealed to all his colleagues not to use plastic.

Varun wrote in a tweet, “Thank you Deepshikha Deshmukh and Jackie Bhagnani for making the set of Coolie No. 1 plastic free. I appeal to all my colleagues to do the same.”

Varun wrote in his second tweet, “Being plastic-free is the current need of the country and our Prime Minister has started very well. We can make it into reality by making small changes. Now only use steel bottles on the set of Coolie Number One Will be done. “

This film by Varun-Sara will be a remake of the film of the same name, released in the year 1995. The original film Govinda, Karisma Kapoor, Kader Khan and Shakti Kapoor starrer were also directed by Varun Dhawan’s father David Dhawan and now he is going to direct the remake as well.
