JEE Main April Exam 2019: The online application window for the Join Entrance Exam (Main) starts today from February 8 and last till March 7 through the National Testing Agency (NTA). All the candidates who wish to appear for the JEE Main April 2019 can fill out the application form on the official website, i.e. jeemain.nic.in
The NTA will be holding the JEE 2019 main exam between April 6 and 20. The entrance exam will be held at various test centres across the country.
About JEE Main:
The Joint Entry Examination (JEE) MAIN will be conducted by the NTA from 2019 onwards. This test was conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) until 2018.
JEE Main is eligible for entrance to NITs, IIITs and CFTIs participating through the Central Seat Allocation Board on the condition that the candidate had completed at least 75% of the 12th-grade exam or was in the top 20 in the 12th Class examined by the respective boards.
For SC/ST candidates, the qualification grades at the 12th class examination would be 65%.
Important instructions for students:
- Before completing the application form, the candidate must have a picture of his current photograph and signature in his hand. These scanned images will be uploaded during the submission of the application form
- The photo should be colored or black. / 11INFORMATION BULLETIN (1st attempt): JEE (MAIN) 2019white (but clear contrast) with the candidate’s name and the date the photo was taken, as shown. It should be without a cap or goggles.
- Eyeglasses are allowed. Polaroid photos are not acceptable.
- Unclear photo candidates may be rejected. Applicants may provide 6-8 identical photographs for use in the entrance examination, seat occupancy, and admission procedures.
