UP 2019 Board Examinations: The state board exams begin on February 7, 2019. While the high school exam ends on February 28, the final interim exams will be conducted on March 2.

Yogi Adityanath: “If someone is found cheating, the concerning DM, DIOS, the principal and the examining superintendent would be responsible. The CrPC section 144 is to be called in the 100-meter range of all centers”. The state CM warned the district officials on Saturday to be held accountable if any cheating or paper leakage was reported.

The CM also mentioned that CCTV cameras and voice recorders would be installed at 8,354 centers. While the CCTV cameras would record the videos from and in an examination room, the voice recorders would be housed inside the rooms. The decision to install a recorder was made because it was previously determined that the supervisor dictated the answers to the students despite the presence of video surveillance equipment. The fraudulent mafias are booked under the strict National Security Law (NSA). There will be 1,314 sensitive and 448 highly sensitive centers. To monitor these areas, the Board has set up a special task force.

STF Senior Superintendent of Police Abhishek Singh told the Indian Express he was ready to ensure a free and fair examination. “We have to identify the fraudulent mafias and take strong action against them. During examinations, we carry out surprise tests. We will also take the support of local police, “said the SSP.
